Avast! Trailer For Fincher’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

A bootleg copy of this trailer has been doing the rounds recently on the Internet and we didn’t want to post it up on the main deck simply because there is nothing worse than watching a trailer filmed from some-one’s hidden ass-cam in a public place.

So here it is, in all it’s official, original glory. Our first look at David Fincher’s adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s book The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo starring Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarsgard, Christopher Plummer and the Warlock himself Julian Sands.

Not sure about the cover version of Led Zep and the trailer doesn’t even explain what the film is actually about, except for the fact that it looks cold, dark and mysterious, (pretty much like every other Fincher movie), but we’ll buy tickets…simply because the Warlock is in it.

I’m dubious to say the least. The whole reason why the originals work is due to their ‘Swedishness’ (is that even a real word? Probably not but you know what I mean) Daniel Craig isn’t Blomkvist material. But you know I’ll still end up watching it, and moaning through the whole thing about how much better the original was…

Was going to read the books, but didn’t. Was going to watch the Swedish films, but didn’t. So i’m hoping after waiting this long this version isn’t a total anti-climax. It is Fincher though.

And ‘Swedishness’ should be a word. As in: ‘His/her Swedishness annoys me.’
