Largest Great White Shark Ever Caught.

Maybe it’s because we spend a lot of time at sea but being eaten alive by large bitey sharks is probably our biggest fear, so imagine our reaction to the news that a 17.9 foot great white shark was caught near Mexico’s Guadalupe Island.

The capture of this gigantic fish was documentated on the new National Geographic series Shark Men – Biggest And Baddest, and the expedition team which landed the shark named the beast Apache.

Of course Apache was released back into the ocean but not before the team managed to get some vital statistics, they took it’s weight which clocked in at two tons and managed to fit an electronic tag to monitor the shark’s movements.
